Assistant Professor Chalermsup Karanjakwut, Ph.D.

Head, English Programme (B.Ed.)

Chalermsup Karanjakwut is holding a Ph.D. in English Language Studies at Thammasat University in Thailand. Simultaneously, he has been working as a lecturer of English at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University since 2014. He obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language conferred from Thammasat University and his Bachelor's degree in Arts (with the First-Class Honours) majoring in English for International Communication conferred from Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Thailand. His areas of interest include 1) Technology Enhanced Language Learning, 2) Teaching Grammar, 3) Professional Development, 4) Teaching Writing Skill, and 5) Intercultural Communication. Throughout his professional life, he has been invited to be a part-time lecturer, a speaker and an emcee. He excels at implementing Technology-Enhanced Language Teaching approach to teaching. In addition, he is an author who produces textbooks for teaching, such as English for Examination Preparation and Job Application, Fundamental English Grammar (Chapter 1 and 5). Apart from textbooks, his research and academic papers were published in either journals indexed in TCI1 and ERIC or international proceedings as shown in the Publications menu. Now he has been responsible for the head of the Programme (since 2023).

Assistant Professor Wapee Kong-in, Ph.D.

Research and Educational QA

Assistant Professor Wapee Kong-in is an assistant professor in English at English Department (B.Ed.), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. He obtained a Ph.D. in English as an International Language from Kasetsart University and an M.A. in Linguistics for Communication from Thammasat University in 2006. His current study is concerned with investigating the strategies to enhance Thai EFL learners’ intercultural pragmatic competence. He is responsible for the courses of An Introduction to Linguistics, Linguistics for Classroom Application, Linguistics for English Learning Management, and English Pronunciation. His areas of interest refer to Phonetics and Phonology, contrastive analysis, translation, applying linguistics and knowledge management to teaching language, language teaching methods and language assessment. Assistant Professor Saisunee Oulis

Planning and Budgets

Assistant Professor Saisunee Oulis obtained B.Ed. in English major, and Educational Technology minor from Silpakorn University in 1998. In 2008, I graduated from Silpakorn University and obtained an M.Ed. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Her academic areas of interest are teaching for sustainable development, micro-teaching, and teaching intercultural communication for language teachers.

Ajarn Sirikanjana Baikham

Practicum and Internship

Sirikanjana Baikham has been working as a lecturer of English at Bansomdejchopraya Rajabhat Univerity since 2012. Successfully, she completed her B.A. and M.A. in English from Khon Kaen University, Thailand. In addition, she achieved a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Cert. TESOL) from Language Institute, Thammasat University. Her currently main teaching subjects are English literature and critical reading and writing. Meanwhile, she is responsible for English major student teaching, practicum and internship. Her areas of interest involve reading from multiple hypertext sources, literature hypertext, integration of critical reading and writing. She has been invited as a guest speaker concerning English teaching and learning development.

Assistant Professor Kamonwan Charunsri, Ph.D.

Student Affairs

Kamonwan Charunsri has been working as an English lecturer at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University since 2013. She obtained a Ph.D. in English Language Studies at Thammasat University. She obtained an M.A. in English for Careers from Thammasat University and B.A. in English from Burapha University. Her areas of interest include English for specific purposes, translation and reading skill.

Ajarn Duangduen Rodjanakarnvijit

General Administration

Duangduen Rodjanakarnvijit has been an English lecturer at Bansomdejchaopraya Ratchapat university since May of 2016. She graduated from Faulty of Humanities and Social Sciences, English majior, Ramkhamhaeng University and Master’s degree in Education Teaching English as Foreign language from Silpakorn University. She has a lot of teaching experiences at schools, colleges and universities. She has taught English for 18 years.

Ajarn Arnantawut Tiang-uan

Academic Affairs

Arnantawut Tiang-uan began working as an English lecturer at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in 2023. He obtained a Master of Arts in Career English for International Communication conferred from Thammasat University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Bangkok, Thailand. His areas of interest include 1) Teaching English with technology, 2) English presentation, and 3) English for specific purposes. He had experience teaching English in a basic-education school and at the university level. He has published articles in journals indexed in TCI1 and ERIC (international database), as well as in international proceedings, as shown in the Publications menu.

Mrs Luz B. Darantinao

Foreign Lecturer

Mrs. Luz Darantinao is a Bachelor’s degree in Education majoring in Science degree holder, 39 credit units in Master of Arts in Teaching Natural Science ( Academic Requirements), and Master of Arts in Teaching English. A Doctor of Education pursuant and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate holder with a grade of A. Experienced teacher teaching different curricula from International to Multilingual and Thai curricula. She has been a part-time lecturer at Ifugao State University and Philippine Christian University teaching Literature subjects, Macro Skills, Seminars in Science and Language Research Education using the Blended Learning Approach to University students specifically Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English Language. Part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Plant Pathology Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen campus on “Seminar-Workshop on International Research Presentation and Manuscript Writing and Editing. Her areas of interest are Teaching English for special purposes ( ESP), conducting research on improving students' motivation level in studying English, and enhancing students' reading proficiency levels. Furthermore, she is also interested in writing books intended for EFL students.

Assistant Professor Saifon Songsiengchai, Ph.D.

Former Head of the Programme

Assistant Professor Saifon Songsiengchai obtained a Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Global Language from Burapha University. I have been working as the head of English program since 2011 until now. She obtained an M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Srinakharinwirot University in 2001 and B.A. in English from Ramkhamhaeng University in 1985. My areas of interest include 1) Teaching English Methodology 2) Coaching and Mentoring Strategy 3) Teaching Listening and Speaking Skills and 4) Teacher Professional Development. Now she is a retired lecturer and our former head of the Programme (until 2023).

Ajarn Elijah Mangat Juarez

Former Foreign Lecturer

Elijah M. Juarez has been a foreign English lecturer at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabaht University since September of 2013. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Theology at Febias College and took up Master’s degree in Leadership at International Graduate School of Leadership, The Philippines. His areas of interest are languages, camp for English language teachers, philosophy, and teaching listening and speaking skills. Now he was our former lecturer (until 2021)
